Service available 24 hours a day for people who are thinking about suicide or are worried about a friend or loved one who might be thinking about suicide. Service is available in English and French.

Francophone community organization that strives to improve the mental health, wellness and safety of its clientele. They offer mental health counselling services, support for women who are victims of violence, victim crisis assistance, a family court support program and a partner assault response program.

Self-care manual offering specific strategies and tools to work through the symptoms of depression. Document available in several languages, including English, French, Punjabi, Chinese, Farsi and Vietnamese. Available as a PDF or audio (MP3) download.
Meditation and Mindfulness
Community treatment agency offering free confidential services for substance abuse and gambling problems. Services are offered in English or French to people of all ages in Hearst, Kapuskasing, Smooth Rock Falls and Cochrane.
Treatment centre for opioid addiction. Services also address the use of other addictive substances by patients. A centre is located in Hearst and in Constance Lake.
Establishment located in the Ottawa area offering bilingual specialized addiction and mental health services to youth, adults and loved ones. Residential services are offered to men and women 18 years of age and over. A co-ed residence for adults and a residence for women only are available.
Free and confidential health information services for people struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, mental illness or gambling.
Fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other, that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. Meetings are held in person or on line.

Family Violence and Sexual Assault
Emergency shelter in the Moosonee area, counselling programs, information and crisis support line for women 16 years of age and older, with or without dependants, who are victims or who are at risk of being victims of violence and/or abuse.
Serving Francophone women over 16 years of age who are or have been victims of violence, especially sexual assault. Women’s shelter for women who are victims of violence in the Timmins area.
