Drug Addiction

North Cochrane Addiction Services

Community treatment agency offering free confidential services for substance abuse and gambling problems. Services are offered in English or French to people of all ages in Hearst, Kapuskasing, Smooth Rock Falls and Cochrane.

OATC – Ontario Addiction Treatment Centres

Treatment centre for opioid addiction. Services also address the use of other addictive substances by patients. A centre is located in Hearst and in Constance Lake.

Maison Renaissance

Residential treatment centre and day program offered in French only for Francophone persons 16 years of age and over with problems related to substance abuse.

Maison Arc-en-Ciel

Residential treatment centre for young men between 12 and 24 years of age struggling with substance or alcohol abuse.

Maison Fraternité

Establishment located in the Ottawa area offering bilingual specialized addiction and mental health services to youth, adults and loved ones. Residential services are offered to men and women 18 years of age and over. A co-ed residence for adults and a residence for women only are available.

Cochrane District Detox Centre 

Support centre for people recovering from addiction for men and women needing withdrawal management or residential support services.

Organization that supports people who are addicted to any drug and who wish to pursue and maintain a drug-free lifestyle. Support groups offered in Hearst, Kapuskasing and Timmins.
